The Vancouver Sun is outsourcing some of its layout tasks to CanWest Editorial Services, a non-union shop in Hamilton, Ont., the Tyee reports. A union rep says he expects a similar move in the Vancouver Province newsroom shortly. Job losses are also expected in both newsrooms, he says, although managers would not confirm that.
