RTNDA president Bob McLaughlin is firing back at the mayor of Merritt, B.C., following his suggestion that out-of-town media should leave the Interior ranching community. McLaughlin, manager of a Toronto-area television station, says the tragic murders of three young children in that town is a story that must be told, regardless of mayor David Laird’s feelings.
