Plaid, a Toronto-based fashion
and style magazine, will launch its inaugural issue in September via
print-on-demand service Magcloud.
The magazine will also launch a blog on its site, and allow readers to submit photos and articles.
D.B. Scott reports:
“The editorial director is Odessa Paloma Parker. An online posting says:
“At Plaid, we believe that there are many elements that compose an individual’s style portfolio; not just the clothes they wear, but the art they collect, the books they read, the music they listen to – investing in the arts is as integral as the latest addition to your wardrobe when it comes to being truly stylish. With a focus on up-and-coming design talent mixed with iconic pieces and fabulous vintage, our fashion stories and photo shoots create inspirational (not aspirational) editorial content.”
