The CAJ’s National Writers’ Symposium takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Moncton, New Brunswick, from November 3 to 4. Keynote speaker is Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and Poynter fellow Jacqui Banaszynski. Seminars include “Writing Fast, Writing Well” (with Banaszynski), “How to Turn a News Story into a Book,” with Jacques Poitras, “Interviewing the Numbers,” with Kelly Toughill and “Why Copy Editors Hate You,” with Jack Branswell, among others.
