Magazines BC has elected four new people to its executive slate, including TV Week‘s managing editor Kim Mah, who is now also the regional association’s president.
Three other recently-vacated positions were filled at a recent board meeting, D.B. Scott reports:
-Steve Ceron, publisher of Arrival, is now vice-president
-Alexandra Samur, rabble.ca‘s managing editor, is now treasurer
-Michele MacKenzie, marketing consultant, Business in Vancouver, is now secretary.
Former president Elizabeth Rains, treasurer Jennifer MacLeod and director at large Patrick Mackenzie all resigned in November.
Magazines BC hosts its annual conference on January 28-30 in Nanaimo. Keynote speaker is Terry Sellwood, general manager of Quatro Communications.
