Beginning Oct. 26, Kady O’Malley, a political blogger for Maclean’s magazine, will cover federal politics for CBC News and blog for cbc.ca, the public broadcaster announced.

O’Malley has been blogging for Maclean’s at Inside the Queensway. She has covered federal politics for The Hill Times, the Ottawa Citizen and Canadian Business as well.

Her new CBC blog has yet to be named. She will work on Parliament Hill with CBC’s Evan Solomon, Kathleen Petty, Terry Milewski and Chris Hall.
