Maclean’s.ca has posted a response from its editors defending the magazine’s cover story which Canadian Chief Public Health Officer David Butler-Jones called “inappropriate and one-sided.” The story questions government plans to administer a new human papilloma virus vaccine to teen girls, and was criticized by Butler-Jones in both an official statement and interview with CP. The Maclean’s response includes links to an excerpt of the cover story in question as well as Butler’s criticisms.
