Maclean’s and CB host online debates

Macleans.ca and Canadian Business Online have launched a new series of online debates, called “Thinking the Unthinkables.”

Microsoft is sponsoring the series, which was filmed in late 2008, and brings together prominent Canadians including Canadian Auto Workers chief economist Jim Stanford, Schulich School of Business dean Deszo J. Horvath and Permbina Institute director of oil sands Simon Dyer, to discuss a range of issues in various segments of the series.

The debates will be moderated by Canadian Business editor Joe Chidley and Maclean’s executive editor Steve Maich and will appear on the websites for both magazines.

The first installment features Maclean’s national editor Andrew Coyne and former head of Canadian Immigration Services James Bissett.
