Lisa LaFlamme, the current national affairs correspondent for CTV
National News, will take over the reins from host Lloyd Robertson when he
retires next year.
Robertson announced his retirement during
Thursday night’s show. LaFlamme will assume the
full-time anchor title after a period of transition in
which she and Robertson will share the anchor position. Robertson said
he will move on to other roles within CTV News after his retirement.
CTV
has collected memorable moments from Robertson’s 34-year career as host
of CTV National News, and is giving audience members a chance to share

feedback published online.
