This interactive workshop is specially designed for journalists working in the mass media to enhance their ability to investigate and report drug-related stories. Medical journalists, researchers, policy makers and physicians will lead sessions exploring such topics as the critical ‘must-ask’ questions, health statistics, and drug pricing. Registration, including meals, is completely FREE so don’t miss out! This program was developed by the Ontario Pharmacists’ Association’s Drug Information and Research Centre (DIRC), a leading provider of medication-related information to both health care professionals and the public, and funded through a grant from the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH).
