The University of King’s College School of Journalism is pleased to announce the 2008 Summer School in Computer-Assisted Reporting, sponsored by the Canadian Newspaper Association. The summer school runs from June 23 to 28 in Halifax. The summer school is a week of CAR immersion, in-depth training in the use of spreadsheet and database software in both everyday and enterprise journalism. You’ll also be introduced to sophisticated software that turns data into maps. The instructors are all award-winning journalists and seasoned trainers.
