The video is broken down into eight chapters: introduction; data visualization in journalism; telling "data stories"; a new era in infographics; life as a data stream; exploring data; technologies and tools; and first steps. Each video section plays in tandem with a steam of information, and related links, in a space underneath the video.
Total running time for all eight sections is 54 minutes.
