After the much hyped launch of the iPhone in Canada, new users of the phone are busy figuring out all the new and exciting things the phone can do for them both in everyday life and at work. A whole slew of applications have been developed to work directly with the iPhone and the list of available apps is long and wide-ranging. An iPhone owner can download games like Frogger or Scrabble for $9.99 or map applications, language lessons, finance tools etc.
There are a ton of fun and practical options and some will definitely be useful for journalists. Mark S. Luckie at the 10,000 Words blog has put together a list of 10 Essential iPHone apps for bloggers and reporters. Voice recorders, writing pads, Twitter tools and others make the list of apps that might help out a working journalist.
