Thanks to Toronto Star interns, many sessions from last week’s Canadian Newspaper Association conference “Ink & Beyond” have been recapped through a group blog. Highlights include American Press Institute’s Steve Buttry on Newspaper Next 2.0, an exclusive interview with Google News’ content specialist Josh Cohen, and a panel discussion on the libel defense of “responsible journalism.” (In a recently posted related article, J-Source’s Dean Jobb also provides his POV on this ruling.) The conference was capped off with a gala presentation of the National Newspaper Awards.
