The Spectator took home 10 awards at Saturday's awards ceremony, including three that oe reporter – Jon Wells – won for feature, entertainment and travel reporting.

The Guelph Mercury won five awards while the Waterloo Record took four.

Two reporters each took home a pair of awards: Shawn Jeffors of the Sarnia Observer and Jason Kryk of the Windsor Star.
