Some members of the GTA’s Caribbean and African Community (CARN) are calling for a boycott of CBC Radio One 99.1 due to a simmering dispute over a licence for a new radio station. After being granted a partial licence by the CRTC in April, CARN chose 98.7 on the FM dial for its 24-hour Caribbean and African station. The CBC claims this would cause interference on their nearby 99.1.
