When The Globe and Mail gathered all of its Toronto-related content into a new, dedicated portal, it also signed a content-sharing agreement with the Torontoist blog.
Globe Toronto editor Kelly Grant introduced the arrangement in her note to readers about the new section:
“We’ve signed a deal with Torontoist, the city’s best comprehensive blog, to bring you intensely local tales from every corner of Toronto, along with listings of events you won’t want to miss.”
A Torontoist post said:
“The partnership is something that we’ve all been working towards for a long while now, and something we couldn’t be more excited about.”
A listings link appears in the right-hand column of the Globe‘s Toronto portal with a Torontoist logo and the text “What’s on today. Urban Planner powered by Torontoist.”
