If you can't wait for the official release of The Globe and Mail's app for Android-based phones, the news organization has released a public beta version for those running Android 2.2 or later.
You can find the app here. The Globe notes that it is still in development, but that bugs will be worked out based on user feedback. Features that are not available in the development version include search, social sharing (Twitter, Facebook, email), text re-sizing and offline reading.
