Muzzling journalists is an act we normally associate with governments in non-democratic countries. While there is evidence that this behaviour continues in places like China and Afghanistan, as described in two recent Town Hall posts, Canada is apparently not exempt. A Telegram reporter/blogger discusses how a CBC journalist has been blacklisted by Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams, and this isn’t the first time the premier has been involved in a dispute with a journalist notes Greg Locke.
