Applications for the Canadian Association of Journalists awards that will be presented at the CAJ gala in April will be closing Feb. 8.
Tyere are 14 award categories this year, including two new categories: the CAJ Award for Human Rights Reporting and CWA/CAJ Award for Labour Reporting. Details about award eligibility and nomination process (including that for the new categories) can be found here.
The gala will culminate the Saturday evening of the annual CAJ conference that will take place from April 27-29 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, in partnership with Newspapers Canada Ink&Beyond conference (April 26-27) and the National Newspapers Awards (April 27).
