In Canada, newspapers are faring better than their American counterparts, according to this Canwest feature. Paid daily circulation is slightly up. In the broadcast sector, CTV’s profits are healthy. Kind of makes you wonder where the profits are going. With the announcement of 24 CTV jobs cut, not to journalists, that’s for sure. We can always do more for less, right?
