Derek Weiler, literary critic and editor-in-chief of Canadian book industry magazine Quill & Quire, has died at age 40. Quill & Quire reported his death on its web site, and posted an obituary, here.

CBC noted that “Weiler had reportedly battled health problems for some time. The cause of death was not announced.”
