Democracy Now! host arrested

Amy Goodman, host of U.S. radio program Democracy Now! was arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 1, along with two producers from the show, Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar.

All three have since been released.

The crew was covering protests outside the Republican National Convention, Democracy Now! said in a press release.
