Chatelaine editor steps down

The editor-in-chief of Chatelaine left her job abruptly on Thursday for “personal reasons,” as reported by the Globe and Mail. Sara Angel was appointed to the position June 1, 2006, after a nine-month search by Rogers. Her predecessor, Kim Pittaway, resigned in August, 2005, just 15 months after she took the reins from Rona Maynard, a 10-year veteran as editor-in-chief.
