Jane Francisco, the editor-in-chief of Chatelaine, has been appointed editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping, the American women’s lifestyle magazine owned by Hearst.
Francisco replaces Rosemary Ellis, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities, Hearst announced in a statement. Francisco joins Hearst on Dec. 2.

We're thrilled to have her on the Hearst team, leading one of our core titles.”

Francisco has been editor-in-chief of Chatelaine since 2009. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of Style at Home and she was the founding editor-in-chief of St. Joseph’s Media’s Wish from 2004 to 2008. She was appointed editorial director of the company’s lifestyle group in 2006.
