The CBC revealed its new five-year strategy this month, and is now asking for the public to respond.
“Our strategy is ultimately about deepening our relationship with Canadians on every level and in every way,” Hubert T. Lacroix, President and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada said in a press release. “Media coverage has been broad, so hopefully Canadians have a sense of what they can expect from their public broadcaster over the next five years.”
“Deepening our relationships means engaging with our audiences and with Canadians. I’m very much looking forward to having people tell us what they think of our strategy for the future, so that we can factor their input into our plans,” he added.
Canadians have until March 31 to provide their thoughts and input on the CBC’s plan.
