Rob and Doug Ford to host radio show on Newstalk1010

Final week to apply for CJF Excellence in Journalism Award

<p>The Canadian Journalism Foundation is accepting applications for its <a href="http://cjf-fjc.ca/awards_excellence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Excellence in Journalism Award</a>, which will be handed out to two organizations: One in large/national media, and one in small/medium or local/regional media. </p><p>There is only one week left to apply; Applications must be received by March 1 at 5:00p.m.</p><p>The Excellence Award is the only national media award to be awarded to a journalistic organization based on overall extraordinary performance.</p>

Syrie: Deux journalistes tués à Homs

<p><em>(2e version)</em></p><p>La journaliste américaine Marie Colvin et le photoreporter français Rémi Ochlik ont été tués aujourd'hui à Homs en Syrie. Ils ont été victimes de bombardements qui visaient le quartier de Baba Amr où se situaient le centre de presse et l'hôpital de la ville. Trois ou quatre autres journalistes ont été blessés, dont une reporter du Figaro Édith Bouvier et un pigiste britannique, le photographe Paul Conroy. 25 civils ont également péri.</p>
