CBC News Network expands News Now with Vancouver host

<p><a href="http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2012/05/14/bc-news-net-hanomansing.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CBC News Network has announced</a> new live programming, with an expanded <em>CBC News Now </em>launching in Vancouver on Sept. 19.</p><p><a href="http://www.cbc.ca/programguide/personality/ian_hanomansing">Ian Hanomansing</a> will host the Monday-through-Friday primetime broadcast, though details on the format on the show have yet to be determined. Hanomansing told CBC that it will include a mixture of sports, weather and breaking news. </p>

Suspects du métro: des visages, des noms et des adresses publiés

<p>L'explosion de bombes fumigènes dans le métro de Montréal, hier matin, occupe le haut du pavé médiatique depuis plus de 24 heures. Des photos de suspects fournies par les services policiers ont été largement relayées hier, et les noms et l'adresse de deux d'entre eux ont été révélés ce matin, alors qu'une perquisition était en cours à leur domicile. Sur les réseaux sociaux, leur procès a déjà commencé, plusieurs réclament une peine de prison.</p>

Two Ottawa journalists win Michener fellowships

<p>Two women in Ottawa will spend four months working on two very different special projects, as new Michener-Deacon Fellows.</p><p>The first Michener-Deacon fellowship in journalism education has been awarded to an Ottawa journalist Melanie Coulson, senior online editor at the <em>Ottawa Citizen, who </em> will conduct research into the growing phenomenon of audience participation in the journalism produced by media enterprises. </p>
