Canwest has appointed Kenneth Maclean as vice-president of digital media for its eastern region, the Montreal Gazette reported today.
Maclean left his position as vice-president of interactive media services at St. Joseph’s Media in March.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent appointment of Graham Moysey as senior vice-president and general manager responsible for Canwest Publishing’s overall digital media assets.
The Gazette quotes Ezana Raswork, senior vice-president and group publisher for Canwest’s eastern region:
“Kenneth will work closely with the publishers to grow the online audiences and revenues of montrealgazette.com, ottawacitizen.com and windsorstar.com. This is in line with our commitment to reinforce our leadership position in local digital media.”
