The Canadian Media Guild, which represents workers at The Canadian Press, has announced that they have come to a tentative agreement on a new deal with the company.

The three-year deal will see across-the-board wage increases totaling 4 per cent over the lifetime of the agreement, beginning next year. It also includes a provision that will see employees to pay 25 per cent of the cost of health premiums and 100 per cent of LTD premium.

A ratification vote will take place before the end of this month.
