Call for Justicia awards nominations

Nominations are being sought for the 9th annual Justicia Awards for Excellence in Journalism. The Justicia Awards celebrate outstanding broadcast and print news stories that foster public awareness and understanding of the Canadian justice system. Two prize winners, one for excellence in broadcast and one for print, will be chosen by an independent judging panel selected by the CBA and the Department of Justice. The Awards will be presented at the annual meeting of the Canadian Bar Association in Quebec City on August 16. The deadline is June 13, 2008 for entries covering stories that were published or broadcast between May 16, 2007 and May 15th 2008.
