Editor-in-chief Steve Meurice leaves the National Post

Memo: Editor-in-chief Steve Meurice leaves National Post

<p>National Post editor Steve Meurice is leaving the company, effective today. With his departure, we have lost a terrific editor, friend and colleague.</p><p>In his 17 years here, Steve has provided superior editorial leadership through often difficult times and helped make the National Post and Financial Post essential reads in print and digitally.</p><p>Please join me in thanking him and wishing him well in his next endeavour.</p><p>In the interim, I will act as editor of the Post until a permanent replacement is named.</p><p>A town hall will be held in the Post newsroom at 3:05 today.</p>
