The Associated Press is collaborating with NowPublic.com, a network of news-gatherers based in Vancouver, with a goal of expanding the world’s access to breaking news. Contributions from the citizen journalists could take many forms,ranging from simple eyewitness reports to original stories, an AP editor said in a press release.
