Newspaper industry publication Editor & Publisher, which recently announced plans to close, has been bought and will resume publication both in print and online.

California-based magazine and newspaper publisher Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc. has bought the E&P. McIntosh is the publisher of Boating World, FishRap and Sea Magazine among other newspapers and mags. Terms of the purchase agreement were not disclosed.

According to an announcement on E&P, a February print issue will start up the regular monthly schedule and online reporting has already resumed.

McIntosh said:
