Shelley Ambrose, co-publisher of The Walrus, went straight to readers with a direct plea for donations in a video recently posted on the mag’s website.

Ambrose, also executive director of the Walrus Foundation, the charitable organization behind the magazine, tells readers the mag is “quite literally clinging to the ice floes.”
