John Nichols, blogger for The Nation, champions American reporter Sarah Olson, who has been subpoenaed by U.S. Armed Forces to confirm quotes she attributed to a former soldier and current war resister. Olson refuses to testify against 1st Lt. Ehren Watada, who faces a court-martial trial for opposing the Iraq war and refusing to deploy there. Nichols calls upon other reporters and editors to support Olson’s decision not to testify against the former officer.
