The Online News Association announced the finalists for this year’s awards. The Toronto Star series Lost in Migration is a double-nominee, both in the Service Journalism (Large) category (up against CBC’s News Consumer Reporting) as well as for the Knight Foundation Award for Public Service. The Globe and Mail is a finalist in the General Excellence (Medium) category. The complete list of finalists can be found at Cyberjournalist.net. The awards will be handed out during the Online Journalism Association’s conference in Toronto on October 19.
