Spacing, Profit and enRoute took home the top prizes at last night’s Canadian Society of Magazine Editors (CSME) awards night in Toronto. Each was honoured with the magazine of the year award at this year’s editor’s choice awards in the categories of large-, medium-, and small-circulation, respectively. Meanwhile, DesignEdge won in the trade magazines category. In addition, Spacing editor Dale Duncan was chosen as editor of the year. The best front-of-book award went to Explore and Maisonneuve picked up the Jim Cormier Award for best display writing.
