Patrick Walsh, editor of Outdoor Canada magazine has been named the new president of the National Magazine Awards.

Also on the 2008-9 board of directors is Joe Chidley, editor of Canadian Business as vice-president, Lisa Walker, art director at 2 Magazine as secretary, Margaret Albanese, corporate controller at St. Joseph’s Communications as treasurer and Kim Pittaway, freelance writer and editor as past president.
