READ MORE<p>Canadian Press’ Rob Russo is leaving his position as the Ottawa bureau chief. Russo has been at the helm of the bureau since 2003 and he was awarded the Charles Lynch Award for lifetime achievement as a Parliamentary journalist in 2010.</p><p>In an e-mail to J-Source, Russo explained his decision to leave the news wire. </p>

READ MORE<p> </p><p>Tony Eberts, a retired journalist who had worked in <em>The Province</em> newsroom for over thirty years has died, has died, the <a href="http://www.theprovince.com/news/Three+decades+newsroom+Province+reporter+Tony+Eberts+passes+away/8318692/story.html#ixzz2S4imJcef">newspaper reported</a>.</p><p>Eberts was born July 11, 1932 in Vancouver. He started at B.C. tabloid covering the New Westminster beat before moving on to general assignment. He eventually became the newspaper’s environmental reporter.</p>
