Newspaper executive Michael Sifton has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Sun Media Corp. Previously, Sifton ran Osprey Media for the past six years. He has also been chairman of Canadian Press, publisher of The Star Phoenix in Saskatoon and president of the Armadale Communications Group.
