The Walrus gained the most nominations in this year’s National Magazine Awards. With 37 nominations in total, The Walrus led the pack with Toronto Life in second place with 29 nominations, followed by Maclean’s with a total of 18. The three finalists for magazine of the year are Maisonneuve, L’actualite and Toronto Life. This is the 31st annual National Magazine Awards and the winners will be announced at a gala on June 6 in Toronto.
