Scott questions the veracity of an article written by someone who claims they lie and make stories up. “Confessions of a Teenage Fabulist,” written under the pseudonym Kate Jackson, first hit newsstands in the winter issue of Maisonneuve magazine. Jackson’s story chronicles how she successfully cheated her way through two terms of journalism school before choosing to drop out to pursue creative writing.
