Prime Minister Stephen Harper has nominated a veteran Toronto Star reporter to be the country’s commissioner of official languages. Graham Fraser was nominated yesterday. The position in the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages was created in 1970 as part of the Official Languages Act. Fraser, who is fluently bilingual, is a journalist, author and teacher.
