Applications are now open for Google's 10-week journalism fellowships for the summer of 2013. The fellowships are targeted at tech-minded journalism students, but students from any major with the right qualities are encouraged to apply.

One week at the Knight Foundation
Eight weeks at one of this year's host organizations which include:
Center for Investigative Reporting,
The Committee to Protect Journalists,
Investigative Reporters & Editors,
The Knight Foundation,
Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism,
Poynter,
Nieman Journalism Lab,
ProPublica
And the last week split between Google News and YouTube.
Fellows will receive a stipend of $7,500 USD, as well as $1,000 USD for travel.
The program runs from June 3, 2013 to August 5, 2013. Applications are due January 31, 2013. For more information, click here.
