The CBC abruptly pulled a documentary about the controversial Falun Gong movement in China just hours before it was to be broadcast. The network denies the decision had anything to do with pressure from the Chinese government, the Star reports. A CBC spokesman said the piece will be aired after a review to make sure it’s “absolutely rigorous.”
