Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication has relaunched its election blog, Political Perspectives, first introduced for the 2008 federal election.
Christopher Waddell, the director of the school, says faculty are providing analysis and commentary on media coverage of the campaign as well as the political dynamics of the campaign. Carleton’s faculty contributors include many of Canada’s senior political reporters, who have covered previous campaigns for news organizations such as CBC Television and The Globe and Mail, including Chris Waddell, Jeff Sallot, Paul Adams, Susan Harada, Elly Alboim, as well as Andre Turcotte and Ira Wagman from Communication Studies and Jon Pammett and Bill Cross from Carleton’s Department of Political Science.
