Corus Radio president John Hayes has announced he will step down after seven years with the company, according to a press release. He will remain as president until the end of August.
Hayes has been with Corus since 2001. Hayes said he was not able to make a commitment to remain with the company for the amount of time required to handle the strategy he and his team had formulated. “My tenure as president of Corus Radio is the longest time I have spent in any role in my career,” he said. “I have cherished my seven years with the company, but I am an entrepreneur at heart and the time is right for me to move on.
