CBC Radio One has added journalistic non-fiction talk show This American Life to its overnight lineup, starting Sunday: the first Canadian broadcast for the popular U.S. show, which is currently broadcast by more than 500 stations south of the border (via Public Radio International), Canadian Press reports.

This American Life is hosted by Ira Glass from WBEZ Chicago Public Radio.

CBC Radio One’s winter lineup includes science and tech show Quirks & Quarks, The House (Kathleen Petty’s political series), Day 6 (Brent Bambury’s magazine) and arts and culture show Q with Jian Ghomeshi.
