The content is divided into different encyclopedias; the Canadian Encyclopedia, Youth Encyclopedia (for students, with more concise and clearly written information), Encyclopedia of Music (scholarly resource of Canadian music), feature articles (narrative style, broadens some of the topics in the encyclopedia) and a selection of articles from Maclean’s magazine. There is also a section on the site which has galleries, interactive resources, quizzes, timelines and a list of the “100 Greatest Events” in Canadian history. The site is well-organized and easy to navigate. More than 5,000 scholars and experts have contributed with their knowledge, which has resulted in more than 50,000 articles.
